On quarterback Josh Hoover’s first pass as a Hoosier, Marsh hauled in a 15-yard touchdown on a back-shoulder throwusing only one hand. Officials initially ruled the catch incomplete, but replay review overturned the call and awarded the score. Indiana took a 7-0 lead. espn.comThe clip spread quickly across X because of the body control, the one-handed snag, and the timing: first catch, first throw, first points of the new season for the defending national champions. Accounts sharing the FOX broadcast footage called it “Matrix-like” and immediately boosted Marsh’s 2027 NFL Draft buzz. @BR_CFBMarsh had been a productive but somewhat overlooked receiver at Michigan State (100 catches, 1,311 yards, 9 TDs over two seasons). His move to a higher-powered Indiana offense and this opening-drive highlight turned him into the day’s most-shared college football name.
