At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Neakasa announced that its Riko smart wet-meal feeder was named an IFA 2026 Innovation Award Honoree, recognized for its automated wet-meal feeding solution for cats.Key details of the announcement include:

• On-Demand Wet Food Preparation: Unlike traditional automatic feeders that store pre-made wet food, the Riko stores freeze-dried food in dry form. At scheduled meal times, it grinds the food and mixes it with water on demand based on chosen portion sizes and hydration levels.
• Customization and Capacity: The feeder allows water-to-food ratios between 1:1 and 5:1, portions ranging from 1 to 15 grams, and up to more than 20 scheduled meals a day. It is equipped with a 3-liter food bin and a 2.4-liter water tank, capable of providing up to 10 days of automated feeding for an average 12-pound adult cat.
• App Controls: Feeding schedules, portions, water/food levels, and feeding history can be monitored and managed through the companion Neakasa app.
• Availability: The Neakasa Riko officially launched across all platforms on September 8, 2026.

Alongside the Riko, Neakasa also showcased the M9 Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box at the event, featuring an open-cabin design, anti-pinch rotation safety features, and odor control, scheduled to launch on October 9, 2026.
