Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville has publicly shared the details of her ongoing, complex medical battle and the substantial financial burden that comes with it.According to the report:
- Official Diagnoses: After months of mysterious facial symptoms, severe swelling, and previous misdiagnoses (including stress-induced angioedema and suspected parasites), Glanville revealed she has been diagnosed with:
- Highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm
- Coccidioidomycosis (commonly known as Valley Fever)
- Demodex dermatitis
- Mononucleosis
- Upcoming Surgeries & Treatments: She stated she has a “fungal ball” in her face requiring surgical removal. Additionally, she expects to undergo procedures to remove metals from old dental work as well as ruptured 20-year-old breast implants, which she previously discovered had contributed to her declining health.
- Treatment Regimen: Glanville is facing four to six months of daily intravenous (IV) treatments, which previously have required infusions for up to 18 hours a day. She noted that she has seen very little improvement so far.
- Financial and Mental Toll: The treatments cost between $3,300 and $6,000 per month out of pocket. Unable to work beyond hosting her podcast, Glanville admitted she does not know how she will manage the situation mentally or financially, but expressed determination to get her health and life back.
