The story centers on comments made by Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton describing quarterback Bo Nix’s mindset and intense energy ahead of the Broncos’ season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.Sutton compared Nix to a caged mountain lion pacing back and forth at a zoo, eager to be let loose. Recalling a visit to the zoo where he watched a restless mountain lion pacing in its enclosure and thought to himself that nobody would want that animal to get out, Sutton noted that Nix has that exact same locked-in, dangerous readiness mentally. After waiting through the offseason to return to live game action, Nix has shown teammates that he is completely geared up and impatient to take the field against their AFC West rivals.
