نجاوبك بالنص حسب اللغة المكتub بها الطلب (English):U.S. Representative and Wisconsin Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany and a pilot escaped with minor injuries after the single-engine, four-seat Bonanza plane they were traveling in lost power and made an emergency water landing in Lake Wausau just before 9:00 p.m. Saturday while approaching the Wausau Downtown Airport. After touching down, they called 911. As the aircraft began filling with water and submerging, Tiffany and the pilot exited the plane, swam to a shallow area, and waited for emergency responders. The Wausau Fire Department and Marathon County emergency personnel arrived via airboat, rescued them from the water, and transported both men to Aspirus Wausau Hospital for treatment of minor injuries (Tiffany received stitches for a cut above his right eye).Federal authorities, including the FAA and NTSB, were notified to investigate the power loss, and local authorities placed a no-wake buoy near the partially submerged aircraft.
