This news article reports on comments made by former Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere regarding the club’s transfer targets:
- Aliadiere urged Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta to push the boat out to sign Paris Saint-Germain left-winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, even if it requires a club record-breaking fee.
- When asked which player in the world he would choose for Arsenal, Aliadiere mentioned that while Kylian Mbappe might be the best individual player in the world, he questioned whether Mbappe would fit the dressing room dynamic and play for the team rather than individually.
- Instead, Aliadiere recommended Kvaratskhelia, describing him as a hard-working team player who fits Arsenal’s setup perfectly on the left wing, calling such a potential move a “fantastic” signing.
- The article also touches on Aliadiere’s assessment of Viktor Gyokeres, noting that Gyokeres needs patience as he adapts to Arsenal’s possession-heavy style, whereas Arteta often prefers Kai Havertz because of how well Havertz fits the system.
