An Italian mechanic named Andrea Marazzi has officially earned a Guinness World Record for building the world’s narrowest driveable car.
Key details about the car:
Name and Base: Called the “Panda per Uno” (which translates to “Panda for One”), it is an ultra-slim, heavily modified Fiat Panda.
Dimensions: The vehicle measures just 50.2 cm (about 19.8 inches) wide, making it barely wide enough for a single passenger to squeeze inside.
Performance: It has a top speed of 9.3 mph (15 km/h), kept intentionally low because its narrow frame makes turning corners tricky and prone to instability.
Functionality: Despite the extreme proportions, it is a fully functioning vehicle equipped with a small electric motor, battery pack, downscaled steering gear, and working headlights and turn signals.
