(Cancelo) What is the story behind this trend in Social Media today?

João Cancelo, the Portuguese full-back now playing for Barcelona after a complicated summer transfer from Al-Hilal, scored a spectacular opening goal in tonight’s La Liga home match. He received the ball near the edge of the box, cut inside and curled a powerful, bending shot that clipped the bar, bounced on the line and went in. The strike came early in the game and immediately lit up social media among football fans, especially Barcelona supporters, who shared clips, reactions and jokes about his sudden impact. The moment stood out because Cancelo had only recently returned to the club on a permanent deal after a loan spell last season, and tonight’s finish was widely described as one of the most eye-catching goals of the round.
