MASCRADE 2026 is the twelfth edition of an annual flagship international conference organised by FICCI CASCADE, the committee of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry that works against smuggling and counterfeiting. The full name of the event is Movement Against Smuggled and Counterfeit Trade.It is being held on 17 and 18 September 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The theme this year is One World, One Fight: Eliminating Counterfeiting and Smuggling Through Collective Action. The conference brings together policymakers, customs and enforcement officials, industry leaders, legal experts, and international specialists to discuss the economic and security threats posed by illicit trade, share best practices, strengthen legal and enforcement frameworks, and promote coordinated global action.The event opened today, which is why the hashtag is circulating on social media. Sessions cover topics such as technology and data analytics for intelligence-led enforcement, disrupting organised crime networks, brand protection, and the economic impact of counterfeit and smuggled goods. A study on illicit trade in India was also released during the proceedings. Former President of India Ram Nath Kovind is the chief guest, and speakers include senior government officials, customs authorities, judges, and representatives from industry.
