The Fox News clip features prominent Democratic megadonor and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman sharing his perspective on potential candidates for the 2028 Democratic presidential ticket during Politico’s Decoded Summit.
Key takeaways from the video include:
Skepticism Toward Kamala Harris: Hoffman poured cold water on the idea of Kamala Harris making another presidential run in 2028, describing a potential bid as a “very challenging path” forward for her.
Views on Other Candidates: When asked about other figures in the Democratic Party, such as Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Hoffman noted that any potential donor support for her would depend heavily on who her opponent is and how she approaches business and economic policy.
