The hashtag refers to the Delhi University Students’ Union elections being held today. Deepanshu Shokeen is contesting the vice-president post as an independent after he did not receive the official nomination from the student organisation he had been associated with. He is one of five candidates for that post.His campaign has drawn attention because he has remained active on campus for several years, focused on everyday student concerns, and received visible support from fellow students. On voting day supporters have been using the hashtag to remind people of his ballot number and to encourage turnout. The larger contest also includes organised panels from the two main student groups plus a Left alliance and several other independents. Results are due tomorrow.
