A construction worker was struck and killed by a vehicle early Friday, September 18, 2026, in Hamilton County, Ohio.
The incident occurred at around 4:00 a.m. along eastbound Interstate 275 near the Interstate 75 ramp. According to the Springdale Police Department, the worker was on duty in the construction zone on eastbound I-275 when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Emergency medical personnel transported the worker to a nearby hospital, where he subsequently died from his injuries. The crash prompted authorities to temporarily shut down eastbound I-275 for an on-scene investigation. The incident remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
