Riot Fest organizers announced that Day 2 of the music festival at Douglass Park in Chicago closed early on Saturday due to threatening weather conditions, including soaking storms, heavy downpours, and lightning threats expected to continue through the evening and overnight. Working in cooperation with the City of Chicago and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of fans, artists, and staff, the remainder of Saturday’s events were cut short, prompting schedule shifts and adjustments for several acts. Festival organizers advised attendees to check official channels for further updates, while plans for Sunday’s schedule remained unchanged.
