On September 19, 2026, the Colorado Rockies unveiled a bronze statue honoring franchise icon and Hall of Famer Todd Helton outside the home-plate entrance of Coors Field.
The statue captures one of the most iconic moments in Rockies history: Helton looking to the sky with arms raised and fists clenched, celebrating after recording the final out of Game 4 of the 2007 National League Championship Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. That sweep sent the franchise to its first and only World Series appearance to date, capping off an unforgettable late-season and postseason run known as “Rocktober.”
During the ceremony attended by hundreds of fans, family members, former teammates, and team officials, Helton expressed deep gratitude for his 17-year careerall spent with Coloradoand the special bond he shared with the city of Denver and the fans in the stands. His statue joins that of fellow franchise Hall of Famer Larry Walker, whose statue was unveiled weeks prior, permanently cementing both legends into the history of the ballpark.
