Christian Pulisic’s StatusExpected to Start: Christian Pulisic is projected to make his first AC Milan start of the season against Lecce, ending a wait dating back to April 2026.
Overcoming Setbacks: The 28-year-old winger has had a challenging 2026 due to injuries, including a micro-fracture suffered during the World Cup, which limited his playing time and contributed to his omission from the latest USMNT squad.

Milan’s Situation: AC Milan enters the match with eight points from their first four Serie A games (two wins, two draws). They are looking to rebound immediately following a 2-0 home loss to Benfica in the Europa League.
Lecce’s Form: Led by Eusebio Di Francesco, Lecce has had a solid start with six points from four matches, coming off a 3-2 victory over Monza, though they are missing midfielders Medon Berisha and Omri Gandelman through injury.
