Following the Dallas Cowboys’ 37-20 bounce-back win over the Washington Commanders, team owner Jerry Jones delivered a lighthearted warning to reporters, stating: “Nothing more dangerous than an old man with money.”
Key details from the report include:
Jones’s Relief: After a rough Week 1 loss to the New York Giants, Jones admitted he was anxious about the possibility of an 0-2 start and praised the coaching staff and players for responding with a vital victory.
Dak Prescott’s Milestone: Quarterback Dak Prescott delivered a standout performance, throwing four touchdown passes to reach 249 career passing touchdowns. This surpassed Tony Romo’s mark of 248, making Prescott the all-time passing touchdown leader in Dallas Cowboys franchise history.
Next Matchup: Following the win, Dallas turned its attention to a Week 3 international matchup in Brazil against the Baltimore Ravens.
