The New York Giants are currently playing the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football in Week 2 of the 2026 NFL season. The team entered the game at 1-0 after an impressive season-opening win over the Dallas Cowboys under new head coach John Harbaugh, with rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart delivering a standout performance.Early in the contest, however, multiple key players have gone down with injuries. Dart left with a knee issue that has sparked significant concern among fans and analysts, with some speculation about potential ligament damage. Wide receiver Malik Nabers also exited briefly with a shoulder injury after a catch attempt (though he later returned to the field), and tight end Isaiah Likely was among others sidelined. This cascade of setbacks has dominated conversation, with supporters expressing frustration over the team’s injury luck, describing players as “dropping like flies” and the squad as fragile or cursed so soon after a promising start. The ongoing game and these developments are driving the widespread discussion across social media platforms right now.
