Dolly Parton’s estate has accused the country music icon’s nephew, Bryan Seaver, of threatening violence and attempting to destroy his aunt’s legacy and business empire. Court filings submitted in Nashville on Tuesday by “She’s Alive”the entity that manages Parton’s professional property and business, run by her longtime manager Danny Nozellreveal discord surrounding the star’s estate.

Seaver, who owned the company that provided Parton’s security detail and was previously chosen to announce her death from cancer last month, allegedly sent a series of increasingly threatening messages and emails starting just before her death. According to the court documents, the messages threatened to destroy her brand, and following her passing, featured Seaver reveling in his newfound fame and referring to himself as an “international arms dealer.”

In response to his conduct, the estate terminated Seaver and his security firm last week and requested a judge to issue a temporary restraining order to keep him away from employees and business operations.
