According to the CBS News report, The Walt Disney Company is increasing the prices for several of its streaming services, including Disney+, Hulu, and select bundle options.

The price increases take effect immediately for new subscribers, while existing customers will see the higher rates reflected on their billing cycles starting next month.

Standalone Plans:

• Disney+ Premium (ad-free): Increasing by $2.50 (from $18.99 to $21.49 per month)

• Hulu Premium (ad-free): Increasing by $2.50 (from $18.99 to $21.49 per month)

• Disney+ Basic (with ads): Increasing by 50 cents (from $11.99 to $12.49 per month)

• Hulu Basic (with ads): Increasing by 50 cents (from $11.99 to $12.49 per month)

Bundles:

• Disney+ and Hulu Bundle Premium (ad-free): Increasing by $2 (from $19.99 to $21.99 per month)

• Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select Bundle (with ads): Increasing by $2 (from $19.99 to $21.99 per month)

• Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select Bundle Premium (ad-free): Increasing by $3 (from $29.99 to $32.99 per month)

Unchanged Plans:

• Disney+ and Hulu Bundle (with ads): Remains unchanged at $12.99 per month (Disney’s most popular bundle)

• Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited Bundle (with ads): Remains unchanged at $35.99 per month

• Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited Bundle Premium (ad-free): Remains unchanged at $44.99 per month

The report also highlights Disney’s ongoing push toward a “unified app experience,” allowing subscribers to link their profiles and watch history between Disney+ and Hulu.
