The United Football League (UFL) officially announced that professional spring football is expanding to Colorado, with a new team set to begin play in Colorado Springs for the 2027 season.

• Elevation Record: At 6,035 feet above sea level, Weidner Field will become the highest-elevation home stadium in professional American footballsitting more than 750 feet higher than Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High.

• Home Opener: The franchise’s inaugural home opener is scheduled for April 11, 2027, and will be broadcast nationally on ABC.

• Branding and Identity: The team’s official name, logo, colors, and overall brand identity are set to be unveiled during a public event at Weidner Field on October 25.
