At its Connect conference, Meta unveiled a new lineup of smart glasses and wearable hardware featuring deeper integration with built-in artificial intelligence:

• Ray-Ban Meta Audio: Meta introduced camera-free smart glasses designed specifically to address privacy concerns over surreptitious recording. These frames focus entirely on open-ear audio, voice controls, and direct conversational access to Meta’s AI assistant without any cameras.

• Upgraded AI-Powered Smart Glasses: The flagship camera-equipped models received major updates driven by Meta’s AI agent technology. The onboard assistant can process real-time visual context, translate languages on the fly, set contextual reminders, and assist with everyday tasks like booking appointments or answering questions about what you are looking at.
