Indiana coach Curt Cignetti has message for antsy Hoosiers fans: 'Don’t b—- about a 38-0 win', tell me about this news in (https://www.foxnews.com/outkick-sports/indiana-coach-curt-cignetti-message-antsy-hoosiers-fans-dont-complain-38-0-win)

Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti delivered a blunt message to Hoosiers fans on his weekly radio show following some grumbling on social media about the team’s 38-0 victory over Western Kentucky.

Despite a dominant shutout where Indiana outgained Western Kentucky 513-186, some fans were antsy and expressed frustration that the offense started slowly and did not win by an even larger margin. Indiana did not get on the scoreboard until midway through the second quarter before pulling away.

Addressing the high expectations and social media complaints, Cignetti pushed back by reminding everyone of the program’s dramatic turnaround under his tenure:

“What are we, 29-2? When I came, I saw the pictures, 10,000 people in the stands. Don’t b—- about a 38-0 win.”

Before Cignetti arrived, Indiana had long struggled to fill Memorial Stadium and had not won a bowl game since 1991. Under his leadership, the Hoosiers transformed into a national contender, and Cignetti made it clear that fans should appreciate blowout shutouts rather than knit-picking lopsided victories.
