Ahead of their Week 3 Sunday Night Football matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, the Denver Broncos provided a significant update on their backfield:
RJ Harvey is set to return: After being held out of Week 2 due to a hamstring injury, Harvey logged a full practice on Friday and was not assigned an injury status on the final report, clearing him to play.
J.K. Dobbins is good to go: Dobbins, who exited the Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars with leg cramping and soft-tissue tightness, practiced in full on both Thursday and Friday. He carries no injury designation into the game.
Jonah Coleman has been ruled out: The rookie tailback suffered an ankle sprain during the fourth quarter against Jacksonville. After missing all three practice sessions throughout the week, he has been officially ruled out against Los Angeles.
With Coleman sidelined, Denver’s rushing duties will primarily be split between Dobbins and Harvey, with Tyler Badie available as depth out of the backfield.
