(#DeViernes) What is the story behind this trend in Social Media today?
26-09-2026
The hashtag #DeViernes refers to the Spanish television program ¡De Viernes!, a weekly gossip and social chronicle magazine that airs on Friday nights on Telecinco. It features interviews with celebrities, exclusive revelations, and debates about current events in the world of Spanish heart press. On this particular Friday, the hashtag is trending because of a highly anticipated episode centered on Belén Esteban. After more than three years away from Telecinco following the cancellation of Sálvame, she returned as the main guest for a long interview. The appearance comes during an ongoing public feud involving her daughter Andrea Janeiro, the bullfighter Jesulín de Ubrique (Andrea’s father), and Julia Janeiro (Jesulín’s daughter from another relationship). The program discussed family tensions, past relationships, public statements, and recent comments from other television figures. Viewers reacted in real time to the interview, to statements issued through lawyers, and to on-air exchanges that referenced messages and personal histories. These elements turned the regular Friday broadcast into the main topic of conversation on social media that night.
