The 2026 Oceans Calling festival in Ocean City, Maryland, has been entirely canceled due to a strengthening nor’easter storm system threatening the area with severe flooding, high winds, high waves, and beach erosion.

Organizers made the decision following updated guidance from the National Weather Service, which tracked a stronger storm with a more westward trajectory. The hazardous weather and severe coastal conditions prevented crews from safely continuing the build operations for the stages and festival infrastructure.

The cancellation wipes out the entire weekend lineup, which was set to feature acts like Twenty One Pilots, Gwen Stefani, Mumford & Sons, Matchbox Twenty, Dave Matthews Band, and Hootie & The Blowfish.
