(tini) What is the story behind this trend in Social Media today?
27-09-2026
I’ll look up what the “(tini)” trend is referring to on social media right now.The name Tini is trending because Argentine singer Martina Stoessel made a surprise appearance at Lali Espósito’s third sold-out concert at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires on the night of September 26, 2026.The show marked the close of Lali’s tour for the album No vayas a atender cuando el demonio llama. After days of rumors, Tini walked onstage wearing a wedding dress, matching Lali, who was also dressed as a bride. Both artists are getting married later this year, so the looks were a deliberate nod to that. They sang Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” together, then performed Lali’s song “1Amor.” Midway through the first number, rock singer Marilina Bertoldi joined them on guitar. The three ended the moment with a kiss that echoed the famous Madonna-and-Britney VMA kiss.Tini then spoke to the crowd, calling it an honor to stand beside Lali and saying Argentine audiences had watched Lali grow up. Lali answered that the invitation was for the girls they once were and the women they had become. It was the first time the two pop stars had shared a stage after years of public speculation about a collaboration.Clips of the performance, the matching bridal outfits, the speech, and the kiss spread immediately and pushed Tini’s name to the top of social-media conversation overnight.
