Two pedestrians were seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night in Urbandale, Iowa.
According to the Urbandale Police Department, the collision occurred as two adults were attempting to cross 86th Street, north of Aurora Boulevard. Both individuals sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and stayed at the scene following the collision. Local authorities have placed the incident under ongoing investigation.
