In this player update from NBC Sports, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice delivered his best performance of the season so far during the Chiefs’ Week 3 victory against the Miami Dolphins.
According to the report:
Rice caught 7 of his 9 targets for 88 receiving yards, setting season-high marks in both receptions and yardage.
This followed an upward trend from earlier weeks, where he caught 2 passes for 19 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, and 4 passes for 83 yards on 6 targets in Week 2.
The 9 targets marked a significant rebound in his role within the offense, showing him re-establishing himself as the primary passing target after sharing shorter route volume in previous games.
