During the Denver Broncos’ Week 3 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night, running back RJ Harvey was evaluated for a concussion before ultimately being cleared to return to action.
According to reporting from The Denver Post, Harvey took a heavy hit during the third quarter and was initially brought into the sideline medical tent. He was subsequently taken to the locker room to undergo the NFL’s concussion evaluation protocol.
Before leaving the field, Harvey had logged two carries for 6 yards and caught five of six targets for 39 receiving yards. After passing all necessary medical assessments, he was cleared of a concussion and returned to the game.
