The Israeli military was attempting to escort the family back to their property following a court ruling. During the operation, masked settlers set fires, blocked access roads, and hurled rocks at security personnel, injuring multiple officers. Due to the intense violence and rioting, the military was forced to halt the return mission and evacuate the family for their safety. The homes were subsequently heavily vandalized and damaged.
