A young TikTok couple from West Virginia, Dakota Harper and Felicity Eatmon, became the center of sudden online attention after their arrest on charges of first-degree arson and conspiracy. Investigators say the pair started a fire at an abandoned house late one evening; the blaze destroyed the structure and caused significant damage to a nearby church. Surveillance footage reportedly showed one of them handing the other a lit piece of paper that was then placed inside the building before they left the scene. The case quickly spread across platforms as an example of influencers whose real-life actions turned into a true-crime story, drawing both curiosity and criticism about the intersection of social media fame and criminal allegations.
