(twitch) Why is this trending now

When Twitch trends on social platforms, it typically happens because of one of a few recurring triggers:

1. Service Outages or Glitches: Server-side connection drops, stream buffering issues, or login errors frequently drive thousands of users to X/Twitter to check if the site is down.

2. Major Creator Announcements or Return Drama: High-profile streamers announcing long-awaited comebacks (such as Kyedae confirming her return date), platform switches, or contract disputes with rival platforms like Kick or YouTube.

3. Policy or Monetization Changes: Updates to TOS guidelines, moderation enforcement, subscriber revenue splits, or partner tier rules.

4. Major Esports or Streamer Events: Large-scale subathons, charity marathons, award shows, or major game tournament broadcasts pulling massive live viewership spikes.
