(rick ross) Why is this trending now

Rick Ross is trending due to his arrest in Miami Beach on domestic violence charges.

He turned himself in to police and was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, facing charges that include felony battery by strangulation and misdemeanor battery. The charges stem from an alleged late-August altercation at his Star Island mansion, which was formally reported to authorities in late September after his ex-girlfriend publicly accused him of physical assault. His attorney has denied the allegations, stating that Ross is innocent.
