Secretary of War Pete Hegseth attended the Air Force vs. Navy rivalry football game at Falcon Stadium, where he took the field to conduct the ceremonial coin toss. Before flipping the coin, he addressed the team captains and players directly at midfield, firing them up with the message: “MenWarriors. Get after it”.
Earlier in the day at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Hegseth took part in morning physical training (PT) with cadets and stopped by Clune Arena. While on the basketball court, he showed off his shooting touch by sinking 9 out of 10 shots in a single take, drawing cheers from onlookers and cadets before heading over to Falcon Stadium for kickoff.
