Vienna, Georgia is trending following a mass shooting that occurred early Sunday morning during a large homecoming block party celebrating Dooly County High School.
Gunfire broke out around 1:30 a.m. in a crowd of an estimated 1,000 to 1,500 people, killing two people and injuring at least 35 others from both gunshots and chaos as attendees fled. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Dooly County Sheriff’s Office launched a major investigation to identify the suspects and determine the motive.
