Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has withdrawn from the England national team camp after sustaining a quad/thigh injury during international duty, sparking major concern among supporters ahead of an intense run of fixtures.

What Happened

Scott made his first senior international start in England’s 7–0 victory over Croatia, playing 70 minutes before being substituted. Although he had felt discomfort prior to kickoff, he played through it to make his full debut. Following post-match assessments, the 23-year-old was forced to withdraw from the squad and return to Bournemouth for treatment.

Fan Reaction & Squad Impact

Bournemouth supporters and local observers view Scott as the side’s standout performer and technical engine this season, having played nearly every minute of their Premier League and European campaigns.

Fan discussions reflect widespread frustration over losing their most creative midfield orchestrator to an injury sustained while playing through discomfort on international duty. His absence leaves a significant void in ball progression and tempo control just as the squad faces two matches a week with little room for rotation.
