Jeanne Tripplehorn is trending due to revelations in Michael Douglas’s memoir, One Helluva Ride.
In excerpts from the book, Douglas revealed that he had a secret, off-screen romance with Tripplehorn while filming the 1992 thriller Basic Instinct (in which she played police psychologist Dr. Beth Garner).
Douglas noted that while media attention at the time was heavily focused on rumors regarding him and co-star Sharon Stone, he had actually fallen hard for Tripplehorn during production while separated from his first wife, Diandra Luker. The unexpected confession about their past relationship quickly circulated across entertainment news and social media.
