Freddie Jackson is trending because the legendary Grammy-nominated R&B and soul singer passed away on October 5, 2026, just days after celebrating his birthday. His family announced his passing on his official social media channels, prompting an outpouring of tributes from fans and fellow artists mourning the loss of the voice behind iconic 1980s hits like “You Are My Lady” and “Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake)”.
