Fayetteville Police Launch Homicide Investigation After Deadly Shooting
A person has died following a shooting in Fayetteville, prompting local law enforcement to launch an active homicide investigation.
According to initial reports from the Fayetteville Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene following emergency calls reporting gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, responding officers and emergency medical personnel discovered an individual suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
