1 Person Unaccounted for in Victoria House Fires, Mayor Confirms

One person remains unaccounted for following an intense residential structure fire that severely damaged multiple homes in Victoria, Minnesota. Local officials, including the mayor, confirmed that emergency response teams were dispatched to battle the fast-moving blaze in the Laketown neighborhood, where flames quickly spread between adjacent residences.

Emergency Response and Road Closures

First responders and mutual-aid fire crews arrived on the scene along Red Fox Drive to contain the flames and prevent further structural spread throughout the neighborhood. Officials immediately closed local roadways to clear access for firefighting apparatus and urged the public to avoid the area.

Investigation and Ongoing Search Efforts

While neighboring homes sustained significant fire and smoke damage, emergency personnel have prioritized search-and-rescue operations for the missing resident. Fire marshals and local authorities have launched an investigation into the origin and cause of the incident as crews continue overhaul operations and scene safety assessments.
