A fire broke out at Mountain Villa, a six-bedroom assisted living facility situated in the foothills of Glendale, California. When heavy smoke and flames began engulfing the residence, a nurse ran outside calling for help. Two neighboring brothers, Narek and Alex Bazinyan, who lived just a couple of doors down, saw the smoke and quickly rushed toward the burning home alongside responding crews to help evacuate the occupants.Firefighters and good Samaritans successfully brought eight individuals to safety. Six elderly residents, one staff member, and a neighbor who entered to help were transported to local hospitals, all treated for minor injuries such as smoke inhalation. Fire crews managed to fully extinguish the blaze, and while the structure was red-tagged due to the damage, arson investigators were assigned to determine the exact cause of the fire.
