Stephanie Vaquer captured the WWE Women’s World Championship from Liv Morgan at a non-televised WWE SuperShow live event held at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile. Background and Setup
- The Feud: Vaquer had previously lost the title to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42. Following recurring outside interference from The Judgment Day on Monday Night Raw and during tour stops in Latin America (including Buenos Aires, Argentina), Raw General Manager Adam Pearce sanctioned another title match for Santiago, Chile.
- Special Guest Referee: To ensure order and counteract interference, Becky Lynch was named the special guest referee for the contest.
- The Climax: In the closing moments of the match, tensions boiled over when Liv Morgan shoved and slapped Lynch. Vaquer attempted to capitalize on the distraction, but Morgan caught her with her finisher, ObLIVion.
- The Turning Point: Morgan went for the cover, but after counting to two, Lynch intentionally stopped short of making the three-count and flashed double middle fingers at the champion.
- The Finish: A furious Morgan confronted Lynch, leaving herself open to a superkick from Vaquer, followed by an SVB and her signature top-rope Vaquer Inferno (corkscrew moonsault). Lynch counted the three to award Vaquer the championship in front of her home country crowd.
- Rare Title Change: Untelevised live event championship changes are extremely rare in modern WWE, making this an unexpected moment on the Latin America tour.
- Second World Title Reign: This victory began Vaquer’s second reign with the Women’s World Championship, ending Liv Morgan’s third reign at 148 days.
- Celebration: Following the match, WWE executives and colleagues acknowledged the historic homecoming win, with wrestlers like Bayley, IYO SKY, and Sol Ruca entering the ring to celebrate with Vaquer and the Chilean flag.
