Tamil Nadu YouTuber Vinoth Kumar, who frequently flaunted large amounts of gold jewellery and bundles of cash on social media, became the victim of a major burglary at his house near Nagercoil.
Unidentified burglars broke open the rear door of his home located in the VIP Garden area of Thammathukonam during the night and fled with 118 sovereigns (944 grams) of gold and cash. Vinoth Kumar lives there with his wife, Madhumitha.
The Rajakkamangalam Police reached the spot after the theft came to light and launched an investigation. Authorities are currently examining CCTV footage from the house and nearby areas to trace the suspects, while also reviewing the couple’s social media content to see if their online posts inadvertently drew attention to the valuables kept at their home.
