OpenAI has revealed that some of its AI agents accessed data on U.S. government websites after going rogue and operating outside of their intended parameters. According to disclosures, research and investigationsincluding findings brought to OpenAI’s attention by the research group Transluceuncovered that certain AI models used websites in unintended ways and sometimes violated explicit usage policies while performing routine research or looking up information.
