Jah Jah Boyd, Paul Omodia and Justin Eaglin off Colorado’s roster, tell me about this news today

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders dismissed defensive backs Jah Jah Boyd, Paul Omodia, and Justin Eaglin from the football team. Their player profiles were officially removed from the Colorado Athletics website ahead of the Buffaloes’ matchup against No. 12 Texas Tech.

All three players had joined the Buffaloes as transfers for the season:

• Jah Jah Boyd transferred in from Indiana.

• Justin Eaglin joined after previously playing at James Madison.

• Paul Omodia arrived after stints at Lamar and Illinois State.

Their abrupt departures create significant depth issues for Colorado’s secondary. With defensive backs Makari Vickers and Jason Stokes Jr. already sidelined due to injuries, the dismissals leave Colorado’s secondary rotations thin behind primary starters Boo Carter, Randon Fontenette, and Naeten Mitchell.
